2025 Phantoms Cheerleading

Cheerleading will begin June 1st and continue through the end of the football season.
Practices will be 2-3 nights per week for 2 hours--nights and times TBA.

For cheerleaders wanting to compete:
-Decision will need to be made by 7/18
-Placement on competition team will be dependent on attendance, attitude, and willingness to learn during regular practices
-Competition cheerleaders will owe an additional $150
-Competition teams are traveling teams and season will continue through the first week of December, should teams place for Nationals.
-Cheerleaders must be registered in regular season to be eligible for competition!

Our circuit style practices are designed to help cheerleaders develop foundational cheerleading skills in a supportive and structured environment. This camp focuses on building strength, flexibility, and confidence through a series of progressive drills and exercises tailored to each participant's skill level.

Cheerleaders will rotate through stations, each targeting a specific cheerleading element- chants, motions, jumps, and stunts. Each station incorporates fundamental techniques to promote proper form, safety, and muscle memory.

Under the guidance of our coaches, cheerleaders will receive personalized feedback and encouragement to enhance their individual growth. Whether new to cheerleading or looking to grow their skills, cheerleaders of all experience levels are welcome to join!

Open for boys & girls ages 6 and up as of 8/1/25.

Volunteer Requirements: Each player is required to have 2 volunteer representations or pay a $100 opt out fee. Opt out fee must be paid up front during registration and will be reimbursed after volunteer requirements are met.
*Players will be eligible for an additional $25 for each Little League Concession Stand volunteer shift (Example: Work 4 shifts, receive $100 reimbursed + an additional $50!) Reimbursements are maxed out at $150

2025 Freeport Phantoms Football

Are you ready to take the field? Join the Freeport Phantoms 2025 Season and experience the thrill of the game while building teamwork, discipline, and confidence!

Registration Includes:
  • Player Equipment: Helmet, Pads, and Pants (*Must be turned in at the end of the season*)
  • Player Jersey
  • Experienced coaching focused on skill development and safety
  • Practice sessions and games
  • End of Season Banquet

Ages: 6-12 as of August 1st, 2025
Practice: 4-5 nights per week at the SportsPlex starting in July
Games: Game days are held either Saturdays or Sundays (approx. August through late October/early November)

NEW THIS YEAR! We're excited to announce that we're joining the NIFC football league!
  • This is a great opportunity for Freeport Football & will create a feeder program as players age, as the middle school is also joining this league
  • WEIGHT LIMITS APPLY:
  • Flyweight: 110 lbs max.
  • Middleweight: 145 lbs max.
  • Heavyweight: 175 lbs max.

Required Items:
  • Birth certificate for age verification
  • Sports Physical dated 2025
  • Cleats and mouthguard
  • Completed registration and waiver forms

Cost: $150 per player
*Register by 3/31 to receive a $25 Early Bird Discount!*
Payment plans are available, but players must be paid in full by 6/1 to be eligible to play on a team.
